Version History (Autodesk, 2014)
Autodesk offers version numbering based on the EOL of AutoCAD features, not on the release date. Therefore, the history of AutoCAD is very complex. With each change in the functionality of the app, AutoCAD 2.0 became AutoCAD version 2, AutoCAD 2.1 became AutoCAD 2.1, AutoCAD 3.0 became AutoCAD 3, and so on. For example, AutoCAD 220.127.116.11 was released in December 1984. It included some basic features and bug fixes, but it was not version 2. The first version 2.0.0 was not released until May 1990.
As a commercial program, Autodesk added additional features to AutoCAD with each new version. However, the company stopped development on the software in 2004. In 2009, they announced that they would continue development on the program, but would take no new development for that year. Since then, they have continued to update the software periodically, mostly adding bug fixes and other user-requested features.

AutoCAD Architecture is a plugin application for AutoCAD that provides architectural design features. It was developed by Micro Tecnologia. The base of AutoCAD Architecture is the architectural functions of AutoCAD.

AIA and other presentations
The Architectural Information Association (AIA) develops the AIA Guide to the Evaluation of Community Development Programs. This publication is a standard of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and the National Association of Home Builders. The published version of the AIA Guide is a series of special interest publications. The AutoCAD Architecture software has built-in functions to automate certain tasks of the AIA Guide and its publications.
A railroad locomotive includes a locomotive frame with a drawbar that is attached at a front end to the frame. An engine for driving wheels of the locomotive is mounted on the frame, and a hood, including a cab in which a crew member, that is, an engineer, a fireman, or a train driver, is mounted, is attached to the frame in front of the engine. The hood has been known as a general term of the equipment of a railroad vehicle.
A fire door (or a fire door and a fire window) is provided in front of the engine and opens/closes a fire door opening formed in the hood in front of the engine. The fire door opens/closes the fire door opening of the hood by using a fire door lever that is pivotably mounted on the frame. The fire door lever is operable by the train driver. The fire door lever is pivoted by the train driver when the train driver opens/closes the fire door opening to open/close the fire door. If the fire door opening is open, the fire door is opened, and, if the fire door opening is closed, the fire door is closed.
The above fire door operation system is disclosed in Patent Literature 1. The fire door operation system in the Patent Literature 1 has a light shield plate. The light shield plate has a light shield portion. The light shield plate is attached to a front end portion of the frame and is located in front of the fire door lever. A tip end of the light shield plate is exposed from the fire door opening. The light shield portion prevents light incident on a fire door opening opening from a front portion of a hood from entering the fire door opening.
It has been known that as a cause of reduced workability of a train driver when operating a fire door lever while viewing a road ahead of the locomotive, the light shield portion of the light shield plate is exposed from the fire door opening. Therefore, the train driver and the crew member of the locomotive do not have the view of the road ahead of the locomotive and, in other words, the fire door opening. If the fire door opening is closed and the light shield portion is exposed from the fire door opening, the light incident on the fire door opening is shielded, and the light cannot be incident on the light shield portion. The light shield portion cannot be seen by the train driver or the crew member, and thus the operation of the fire door cannot be operated.
