The Nihon Ad Company, Inc., has announced its slate for summer DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD releases, listing 35 titles, as well as 2 television film titles. This list includes Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar: The Complete Series, which was previously listed as “coming soon,” and the English language DVD release of My Neighbors the Yamadas, which is also available on Blu-ray. However, we have a correction to make here. Both Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar and My Neighbors the Yamadas are not English language releases; Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar is not dubbed in English, but My Neighbors the Yamadas is subtitled in English. The DVD is not subbed in English, but the Blu-ray is to be.
First off, the DVD box for the first season of SBS’s The Americans just arrived. As mentioned, there are just two discs with a total run time of 31 hours on the first episode. The set also comes with a collector’s box
That could be a good strategy. The DVD box arrived a couple of weeks ago. I did a small review with some impressions and it has a BEAUTIFUL MUSIC VIDEO inside. Yes, it’s that Anna Kendrick! You know what, this is the only season that I had to watch the whole thing on DVD. There were moments when I just didn’t care about what was going on, so I had to stop and go to a file to grab my netflix. I cried at one point!
The first episode of The Americans – season 2 is out. It has a collection of spies and quite a bit of shooting and politics. I have not watched an entire episode, but I “finished” it last week. I also wanted to write this review while everyone is still in limbo over the new season of The Americans, releasing in a couple of months. Have you heard anything about the new season?
